devoting[ Getting away was too damn close, this time. Gokudera and Yamamoto were sent alone for recon on this mission, to something that might have been an abandoned factory or warehouse or slaughterhouse, they can't tell because everything is rusted and moulding and falling apart at the seems and if he makes it out of this, the first thing Gokudera is doing is getting his lungs checked for asbestos because like hell if he needs them to be any worse.
There are a lot more of the enemy family making this shithole their base than there are of Gokudera and Yamamoto, so when a pane of glass literally falls out of the window and shatters on them as they pass by, it's was obvious that someone was going to check out the noise and even more obvious that they were going to get caught and shot at and Gokudera was going to need to blow up the one hallway that not only connected them to their mission, but to the only exit that had been marked as 'safe'.
So, they ran through the maze of wood and concrete and wire and glass until there was one room that could be used as a safehouse, tucked far enough away from the enemy to give the two enough time to regroup and hide out and pick glass out of their skin until reinforcements come. ]
